About this Event
Find a little harmony around the holidays! Join Coachella Acappella Women’s Chorus, Party of 4 Quartet, and Three Together for a festive evening of holiday favorites, each performed with the group’s own distinctive a cappella flair. Add your voice to the celebration with an audience sing-along, and enjoy the warmth, laughter, and joy of making music together.
Founded in 2019 by Director Alan Scott, Coachella Acappella began with approximately 12 singers and a shared vision of bringing a women’s chorus to the valley. The singers kept that vision alive through virtual rehearsals during the pandemic, building friendships and a musical community that continues to grow. Today, as the Coachella Valley’s only chorus for women, the group brings voices together through the art of four-part harmony, with an emphasis on barbershop style.
At the heart of the chorus is a mission to help women find their voices, develop confidence, and grow as singers and individuals. Through musical education, performance, and a welcoming community of friendship and sisterhood, Coachella Acappella creates a place where women can learn, belong, and shine.
That commitment reaches the next generation through the AcaChella High School Initiative. Launched at Palm Springs High School in 2022, the program introduces young women to four-part a cappella harmony while developing vocal technique, performance skills, and confidence. Opportunities to perform and share their talents help these young singers discover the joy of finding their voices together.
Take a break from your holiday preparations, gather your friends and family, and celebrate the music and community that make this season special!
