This West Midlands reserve has an attractive mix of lakes, reedbeds, woodland and grassland, situated adjacent to the River Avon near Coventry. It showcases how nature can totally re-establish itself half a century after gravel extraction.
We will look for wintering wildfowl and waders and woodland birds. Water Vole and Otter are possible.
We may also cross Brandon Lane to Brandon Wood and Brandon Reach
