FULL DETAILS BELOW
Is it possible for a few people to get organised and make life better through cooperation?
Please join us on a walk celebrating some of the Huddersfield groups that have done it.
Starting in Marsh and ending in town, our route will take in places where people have created housing, food, art and much more by working together, including the Catfish housing co-op, the Antilles club and Highfields community orchard.
Along the way we will pause to hear from people who have been involved about how they did things and why. As we walk, there will be time to chat about what we can learn from their experiences for the future.
The walk will be a gentle downhill stroll, ending up at Hive cafe for a coffee.
The walk is hosted by Fairly Organised Huddersfield, a new informal group encouraging connection and cooperation.
Families, dogs and friends are all very welcome.
Please bear in mind: we will be a group of people getting together on a Saturday afternoon for a walk on paved streets. We will each take responsibility for our own safety just as we would any other day. We will be walking even if it’s raining, so please dress for the weather.
