Info: This course focuses on the Certified Nursing Assistant’s essential role in providing safe, compassionate assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs). Participants will review best practices for hygiene, mobility, toileting, nutrition, and comfort while promoting patient dignity, independence, and safety. The course emphasizes infection prevention, proper body mechanics, observation and reporting of changes in condition, and effective communication with the healthcare team to support high-quality patient-centered care.

Sepsis and the Role of the CNA
Host: Geraldine Rimando, RN
Info: his course introduces Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to the basics of sepsis and their critical role in early recognition and response. Participants will learn common causes, early warning signs, and subtle changes that may indicate worsening infection. Emphasis is placed on accurate vital sign monitoring, observation and reporting, timely communication with the nursing team, and basic supportive care actions that help promote rapid intervention and improve patient outcomes.
