CME: A School Nurse’s Guide to Musculoskeletal Injuries

Join Scott Simpson, MD, for a free CME focused on recognizing common musculoskeletal injuries and conditions in children. A light dinner will be served at 5:30 p.m., followed by the presentation at 6 p.m.

This session will help school nurses better understand why children may be more prone to minor fractures and how growing bones can affect the types of injuries they experience.

Learning objectives include:

• Understand why children are more prone to minor fractures.
• Recognize selected common musculoskeletal problems in children.
• Recognize common injury patterns in children.
