About this Event
Prospective and current consultants are invited to join the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning (CMAP) for an in-person open house focused on upcoming project opportunities. This is also an excellent opportunity for informal discussion and questions about the agency’s focus areas and procurement process.
CMAP staff will provide an overview of the agency’s work and highlight anticipated areas of consultant support tied to future partnership opportunities, including work planned for fiscal year 2027 and beyond.

During the open house, attendees will have the opportunity to hear directly from CMAP team members about upcoming programs of work, which may include:
- Capital improvement plans
- Bike and pedestrian plans
- Transportation plans, including arterial corridor studies
- Safety action plans
- Comprehensive plans
- Subarea, corridor, neighborhood, downtown, and site plans
- Stakeholder and community engagement
- Market and demographic analysis
- Public finance and transportation funding analyses
- Travel activity data capture and processing
- Planning renderings, illustrations, drawings, and graphic design
- Water quality modeling
- Public right-of-way Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) transition plans
- Other planning and technical assistance projects
