Clutch, formed in 1991 in Germantown, Maryland, built a fanatical fanbase with solid performances and classics like the single "Pitchfork" and the EP Passive Restraints. The band broke through in 1995 with their self-titled album Clutch, which brought them mainstream fame with songs such as "Big News", "Spacegrass" and "Escape from the Prison Planet." Throughout their career, they changed labels, made indie albums and built their own record label, Weathermaker Music, under which they still release music.
In 2025, Clutch will re-release their iconic 1995 self-titled album on 180-gram vinyl and, in honour of it, will also do an extensive tour of North America and Europe, fortunately including a stop in AB. During this tour, they will play the album in full and in proper order, with special production and lighting to enhance the mood of the record. After some well-tasted Clutch passage, once again a unique experience!
