What makes your heart go vroom vroom?Where do you feel most at home?
Who lets you be your weirdest self?
How do you keep the throb alive?
A giggle of four queer, trans and gender non-conforming clowns have lost the keys to the car and are about to make it the neighbour's problem. Join the Throbbers for a night of backyard nostalgia, Paddle-pop vomit and late-night truths around the kick-ons table. Expect drag, circus, cabaret and music all wrapped up in a pocket-sized vehicle...if only they could find the keys!
Clownthrob is a Naarm-based collective featuring Thembot, Bijoux Boy, Lilium and Quadish. They are a collaborative troupe of trans and non-binary, neurodivergent, queers (tre camp!). Hailing from the four corners of performance art: Drag, Circus, Dance and Theatre. They blend their unique skills and undeniable chemistry to devise works greater than themselves.
Clownthrob is only showing for four nights this Fringe from October 8-11 in the ETU Ballroom at Trades Hall. Don't miss out on the fun!
