Find Your Clown ConfidenceWhat happens when you stop trying to get it right—and start trusting what happens?
Clown Confidence is a playful three-part workshop about authenticity, spontaneity, and resilience. Through interactive exercises, happy accidents, and a little absurdity, you’ll explore how to trust your instincts, embrace your quirks, and turn the unexpected into something useful.
You’ll learn to:
Find Your Nose — trust your instincts and authentic reactions
Wear Your Hat — shift perspective and welcome the unexpected
Share Your Utensils — use playful tools to turn challenges into possibilities
Meet Your Instructor: Heidi Madsen
Columbus performance artist Heidi Madsen is co-founder and Chief Performance Officer of the Super Art League, where she uses creativity and performance to build confidence and leadership skills in children and adults.
Heidi studied clowning with Sue Morrison at Toronto’s Theatre Resource Centre, working in the “Clown Through Mask” tradition developed by Richard Pochinko. For Heidi, clowning is more than comedy—it is a way to tell the truth, reveal the absurdities of everyday life, and meet the world with radical creativity.
No clown experience required. Just curiosity, a willingness to play, and perhaps a tolerance for red noses.
Come discover what happens when you bring more of yourself into the room. This 3 week class starts Saturday, Oct. 24, 31, Nov. 7, 10am to noon.
