About this Event
Cloud Jam invites musicians of all levels to join Alternity in the spirit of collective co-creation.
Cloud Jam is an intentional, free-metered and unstructured jam that aims to elevate the Self, by encouraging self expression and perseverance in both the chaos and the magic of organic sound escapades. We invite others to share their soul’s essence through sound and to support others as they do so. This jam is heart centered, with an emphasis on gentle melodies, harmonization, and trance-like rhythms.
All instruments and all levels welcomed, previous jams have included: handpans, tongue and steel drums, didgeridoos, vocals, flutes (bansuri, shakuhachi, etc), shakers, rain sticks, crystal and tibetan sound bowls, jaw harps, throat singing, guitars, violin, and more.
For beginner musicians, Cloud Jam offers an altar in the middle, participants are welcomed to grab and try any instrument from the altar no matter their musical experience. Likewise, anybody is welcomed to make an offering. Whether it’s clapping on the beat or picking up a shaker, this is a space for everyone to explore connection through sound.
We encourage participants to bring their own instruments and their own yoga mat as well.

$15 cover upon arrival (cash, e-transfer, credit/debit machine)
