Join our trained gallery educators for a guided tour of the special exhibition "Photography and the Black Arts Movement, 1955-1985." Each discussion-based tour will provide participants with the opportunity to engage with exhibition themes and learn about select works of art. Tour included with cost of admission.Emmi’s work focuses on storytelling through immersive experiences, particularly in her current project, "Gathering Currents: Voices of the Road." This traveling storytelling series explores how music brings people together, capturing the energy and joy of live performances while documenting the narratives that arise from these shared moments. Emmi believes that music has the power to create connections, fostering community and a sense of belonging.
As a visual artist, Emmi primarily works with painting and photography to evoke stories of color, life, and emotion. She finds immense joy in music and believes that the act of creating is a deeply fulfilling form of expression.
