Join our trained gallery educators for a guided tour of the special exhibition "Photography and the Black Arts Movement, 1955-1985." Each discussion-based tour will provide participants with the opportunity to engage with exhibition themes and learn about select works of art. Tour included with cost of admission.Earsley Quinn is a multidisciplinary artist and cultural educator whose work bridges art, fashion, beauty, history, and storytelling. She began freelancing as a makeup artist in high school from her kitchen counter. From there, she amassed an esteemed portfolio and expanded into vintage clothing curation. Her interest in art and cultural history has shaped a career spanning museums, historic sites, and community education. She has served as a Gallery Attendant with the Mississippi Museum of Art, Gallery Guide and Museum Educator with the Two Mississippi Museums and as inaugural Park Ranger at the Medgar and Myrlie Evers Home National Monument. She currently works as the Bookmobile Librarian with the Jackson-Hinds Library System, bringing books, creativity, and educational programming directly into the community.
