About this Event
Join us in the Makerspace for a hands-on Plaster of Paris clock casting workshop.
During the session, you will learn how to prepare and mix Plaster of Paris, add colour and decorative elements, and cast the mixture into a mould to create your own clock face.
You will be guided through the casting process from start to finish, including preparing the mould, mixing and pouring the plaster, creating your design, and finishing the cast clock face.
Once completed, your clock face can be fitted with a clock mechanism to turn it into a functional clock to take home.
No previous casting or making experience is required. All materials and equipment will be provided, and the workshop is suitable for beginners.
This workshop is open to University students and staff only.
