CHANGE OF VENUE: St. Monica's Catholic Church, Edmond, OK(The regular OPS monthly meeting and mini-workshop with Clive on Saturday, Nov. 14 will be at our usual venue--Will Rogers Garden Center in Oklahoma City.)
Clive Tyler returns to the Oklahoma City area to teach a two-day pastel workshop for OPS, Thursday-Friday, November 12-13. Following the workshop, he’ll then be the guest artist for our Saturday, November 14 meeting.
Clive is a master pastelist. His American Impressionist work is award-winning, nationally-known, and avidly collected. He’s represented by Insight Gallery in Fredericksburg, TX, Oh Be Joyful in Crestedb Butte, CO, and other high-end galleries.
Clive regularly taught OPS workshops for ten+ years. His teaching style is engaging and informative, and his paintings offer their own lessons. The Covid outbreak cancelled his scheduled spring 2020 workshop, and we’ve missed him ever since.
He’ll demo and teach the pastel techniques he’s developed during his illustrious career both days from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Fee $275. Class size has been limited to 17. For details, go to the Workshops & Events page at www.okpastel.org.
