🥞 Annual Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser 🥞Presented by Clear Lake Volunteer Fire Department, Inc. (155th Year of Dedicated Service)
WHEN: Sunday, October 04, 2026 | 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM
WHERE: Clear Lake Fire Station (711 2nd Ave North, Clear Lake, IA)
TICKETS: $5.00 per person (Children 12 and under eat FREE when accompanied by a paying adult)
ABOUT THE EVENT
Our "special recipe" pancakes, link sausages, coffee, juice, and milk will be served hot and fresh at the Fire Station! Bring the whole family down for a great breakfast and support your local volunteer firefighters.
Additional tickets will be available right at the door.
SUPPORTING THE 9/11 MEMORIAL STATUE PROJECT
This year’s annual breakfast proceeds will primarily support our 9/11 Memorial Statue Project.
Thanks to the tremendous generosity of our community, we have secured funding for three of five life-sized statues honoring those affected by 9/11.
The Firefighter statue was unveiled at our 9/11 Memorial ceremony on September 11, 2026.
Two additional statues representing a civilian and EMS are planned for unveiling in 2027.
We are currently raising funds for the remaining law enforcement and military statues (we are already at 70% of our goal!).

DEPARTMENT UPDATES & STATS
The department had a busy year in 2025:
1,581 calls for service (fire, medical, and good intent)
7,135 total man-hours logged
30 volunteer firefighters completed ~1,189 hours of training
Average of 208 hours donated per volunteer
