Clear Fork Empty Bowls is a benefit soup luncheon that raises much-needed funds for the Bellville Neighborhood Outreach Center food pantry, supplying necessities to families in need throughout the Clear Fork Valley. 💚🩵❤️💙THE EVENT:
You’re invited to Clear Fork Empty Bowls soup luncheon fundraiser! This year it will be held on Sunday, November 15th from 11:30am to 1:30pm at the Clear Fork High School cafeteria.
THE FUNDRAISING:
We request a donation for your meal…$15+ includes your meal and a beautiful, one-of-a-kind bowl of your choice!
THE BOWLS:
At the luncheon, guests choose from a collection of colorful bowls, beautifully glazed by community members of all ages, then professionally kiln-fired by the Mansfield Art Center. Luncheon guests then keep their bowls to use or display at home and to serve as a reminder of the empty bowls in our community, which they are helping to fill.
THE SOUP:
Clear Fork Empty Bowls is proud to serve some of the most delicious soups donated by area restaurants and local “celebrities.” The soup is accompanied by breads and desserts.
THE HISTORY:
Unfamiliar with our event?
Since its inception in 2018, our local Clear Fork Empty Bowls is honored to have raised over $50,000 for efforts to help alleviate hunger in the Clear Fork Valley.
The concept of Empty Bowls was created in 1990 by a Michigan art teacher who was looking for a creative way for his students to support a local food drive. The idea grew, and in the years since its inception, Empty Bowls events are held throughout the U.S. and even other countries, raising funds for hunger relief.
We hope you will join us for this wonderful event! To volunteer or for more information, please write [email protected].
We also thank you for any help you can give us in spreading the word about Clear Fork Empty Bowls, and please visit our website at www.bnoc.org.
