Hello Ocean Lovers and Volunteers 🌊Following the amazing participation over the past two years, we’re excited to once again partner with the Copenhagen Dragon Boat Festival for a special cleanup on Sunday, May 31—the final championship day ☀️🛶
This year, the event will take place at a new location: Island Brygge 37–45. Entry to the festival area is free throughout the day.
As usual, you can enjoy exciting dragon boat races, cheer on your favorite teams, and explore a wide variety of pan-Asian food and drinks from hundreds of booths.
Cleanup Schedule – May 31
13:15 – Meetup at Islands Brygge 37–45 (look for the Nordic Ocean Watch banner) & welcome by our team
13:30–14:15 – Cleanup around the festival area
14:15–14:45 – Trash sorting and weighing – Citizen Science in action
After the event, feel free to stay and enjoy the festival, dragon boat races, and performances until 18:00.
