The Clean Up Salford Volunteer team are going to give our usual haunts a weekend off and have a wander around Buile Hill Park after the fireworks, kicking the leaves and bagging the litter. We are likely to be joining Street Scene from Salford Council who will also be tidying the area.
The recent storm has also deposited half the cities rubbish in the park & surrounding area, so why not turn a quiet Sunday stroll into something more productive, with fresh air, light exercise and community action.
Join us in the carpark by the main Hall, setting off for 10am. If you have your own equipment then please bring with you, however, spare pickers & bags will be available.
