**About Kyoko Faison**
Kyoko Faison was born in Japan to health-conscious parents and developed an early interest in cooking by assisting her mother, an excellent cook. This upbringing instilled in her a strong appreciation for quality ingredients and healthy eating. Her interest in healthy eating and culinary arts eventually led her to transition to a vegetarian diet and a new career path. She began working as a vegan chef at Grassroots, one of Tampa’s few vegan restaurants at the time, where she honed her expertise in vegan cuisine. Following the closure of Grassroots, she leveraged her culinary experience to launch her own vegan meal prep business called “Friday Kitchen”. The business quickly flourished, largely through positive word-of-mouth recommendations, and her growing success enabled her to eventually open her own restaurant, “Pure Kitchen.”
