Just in time for Christmas, the Clayschool Summer Show brings together more than 50 artists (students and teachers) for a joyful celebration of handmade ceramics and creative community.A biannual event, the Clayschool Show has become Brisbane’s longest-running and largest pottery festival, showcasing the diverse work of emerging and established makers. From woodfired pots and bold sculptural pieces to beautiful tableware and your soon-to-be favourite mug, there’s something for everyone - and plenty to inspire your Christmas gift list.
More than an exhibition, the show is a gathering point for Brisbane’s clay community. It’s an opportunity to meet the makers, discover unique styles and techniques, and find something truly special to give (or keep). Whether you’re shopping for thoughtful, made by hand Christmas gifts or simply love the art of clay, you’ll find a wonderful range of work to explore.
Join us for a weekend of ceramics, creativity and festive gift hunting at Clayschool, 11 Crombie St, Milton, and discover the energy and artistry shaping Brisbane’s clay culture.
Saturday and Sunday, 8am–2pm.
