About this Event
Get ready to get creative with clay and nature! In this hands-on art class, young artists will shape air-dry clay into their own unique mosaic. They’ll press colorful dried beans and seeds into the clay to create patterns, pictures, and designs inspired by the textures and beauty of nature.
No two mosaics will be alike! Kids ages 10-12 will have the opportunity to experiment with shapes, colors, patterns, and textures while creating a one-of-a-kind piece of art they can take home and enjoy.
The cost for this class is $7 and all materials are included. Pre-registration is required. Contact Jennifer Overholser at 440-813-0367 if you have questions.
Instructor: Jennifer Overholser, Artistic Director of Visual Arts at Darke County Center for the Arts.
