🎄 Clay Christmas Tree ClassMake the Christmas decoration your family will fight over someday.
In this hands-on clay class, you'll build your own 12-inch ceramic Christmas tree completely from scratch —starting with a lump of clay and ending with something you'll pull out of the Christmas boxes year after year.
We'll guide you step-by-step as you form your tree, add texture, create branches, and give it all the little details that make it yours. Keep it classic and nostalgic, make it wonderfully wonky, cover it in ornaments, give it a woodland twist—there is no wrong Christmas tree here.
No clay experience needed. Seriously. If you can roll clay and follow directions, you can make this.
Your $52 class includes:
• All clay and materials
• Step-by-step instruction
• Use of our tools and tree forms
• Your approximately 12" handmade ceramic tree
• Bisque firing
• A return visit to paint your tree however you'd like
• Glazing and a final glaze firing
We'll build our trees together during class, then your creation stays with us to dry slowly and completely before heading into the kiln for its first firing.
Once it's bisque fired, the fun isn't over.
Come back during regular studio hours to paint your tree. Traditional green? Absolutely. Pink Christmas? Obviously. Moody Victorian Christmas tree that looks vaguely haunted? We would expect nothing less.
We'll glaze and fire it one more time, and then it's ready to go home.
This isn't a paint-a-tree class. You made the tree. And years from now, when you unpack it for Christmas, you'll get to say that every single time someone compliments it. Christmas decorations come and go. This one's yours.
