Duckworth & Duprez was born out of both necessity and friendship during the pandemic. With indoor gatherings off-limits, Mark and Ted met on the grounds of Clitheroe Castle, where they found solace in music, unknowingly writing what would become their first two albums.Both grew up in the Ribble Valley but spent years playing in rock guitar outfits across the UK. In 2018, when Ted’s father fell ill, he returned home to support his family. This brought him and Mark back together, and in 2020, amidst the uncertainty of lockdown, their shared love of music reignited—turning a difficult time into the start of something truly special.
