Amidst Two Skies: An East-West Musical Journey
A violin recital through time, sight, and sound
Violin virtuoso Priyanka Venkatesh, equally at home in the classical and Bollywood traditions, brings her acclaimed program Amidst Two Skies to NoHo for an evening where two musical worlds meet.
The program
- Aika by Shirish Korde, in its Los Angeles premiere. This dazzling new work draws on the language of Indian classical music and is paired with original imagery by visual artist Raphaele Shirley.
- Partita No. 2 in D Minor by Johann Sebastian Bach, including its towering Chaconne, accompanied by fine art images curated by Priyanka herself.
Music and visuals unfold together, so you don’t just hear the journey; you see it.
A beautiful way to welcome spring, whether you’re planning a date night, an evening with family, or a night out with friends. Don’t miss it.
