Improv Intensive: Yes, And for Everyday LifeImprov isn't just for the stage. It's a way of showing up in the world with more confidence, curiosity, and connection. This 8-hour intensive is designed for beginners who want to discover what improv is all about and how its tools can make a real difference in everyday life. Through games, exercises, and short scenes, you'll learn the core principles of improv: listening fully, saying "yes, and," supporting your partners, and making choices without fear of getting it wrong. With a full day to play, you'll have room to loosen up, build trust with a group, and watch your comfort grow hour by hour. Along the way, we'll explore how these same skills show up outside the theater, in conversations at work, meeting new people, handling surprises, speaking up with confidence, and staying present when life goes off script.
Objective: By the end of this intensive, participants will understand the foundational principles of improv, feel more comfortable thinking and responding in the moment, and leave with practical tools for stronger communication, collaboration, and confidence in everyday situations.
No experience needed, just an open mind and a willingness to play. This intensive is open to ages 16 and up.
