About this Event
CLASS is back in session with Colin Kaepernick!
Kaepernick is an author, activist, entrepreneur, and former NFL quarterback, connecting in community for his latest book: The Perilous Fight. Join us for this exclusive author talk as Kaepernick shares the experiences that changed his life and fueled a movement.
When Kaepernick knelt, the NFL blackballed him. But in the ten years since, the questions his protest raise have not gone away. In The Perilous Fight, Kaepernick delivers his story with the same unflinching conviction that defined his most-watched moment, a single act of protest that changed American sports and culture forever. And ultimately, it is a story about the future we are all still fighting to build.
Releasing September 15, 2026, and available for pre-order, The Perilous Fight is a defining and uncompromising memoir.
Moderated by Houston’s own Chamillionaire, this conversation’s deep dive into Kaepernick’s sense of justice will leave you feeling empowered and inspired.
This author talk is hosted by CLASS Bookstore in partnership with the National Association of Black Bookstores.
