The Municipality of Clarington is proud to be hosting the Culture Days Trailside Finale on Sunday, October 4, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the Marie Hubbard Trail in Bowmanville. This free, family-friendly event will transform the Marie Hubbard Trail (formerly the Soper Creek Trail) into a lively community celebration. Residents of all ages are invited to explore the trail, try something new and experience arts and culture close to home. 🎨

👉 A celebration of local talent featuring activations from community arts, culture and heritage partners
👉 Interactive chalk art, 3D art installations and live painting
👉 Community art experiences, creative workshops and hands-on activities
👉 Interactive story walk with Clarington Library, Museums and Archives
👉 Monarch Monoprint Workshop with the Visual Arts Centre of Clarington
👉 Puppet show and family entertainment
👉 Clarington Concert Band performances
👉 Explore and try musical instruments
👉 Food trucks, including Masala Box and Zombie Dawgs

Getting to the event:
👟 Cycle, walk or roll to the Marie Hubbard Trail: Enter from Soper Creek Park from the south, King Street East (south of the Mearns Avenue intersection) from the north.
🅿️ Parking is available at Bowmanville High School, 49 Liberty Street North. A shuttle bus will take visitors from the school to the top of the Visual Arts Centre of Clarington property at 143 Simpson Avenue.
♿️ Accessible parking will be available at the bottom of the driveway at Soper Creek Park.
This event wraps up the Culture Days festival, a national initiative that invites neighbours to discover, create and connect through arts, culture and creativity.
From September 18 to October 4, local artists and community organizations will host free events, performances, workshops and hands-on experiences across Clarington.
