——— COALS (PL)
Coals, aka Kacha and Lucassi. A duo that grew out of home recordings uploaded to YouTube and quickly caught attention with their sensitivity and distinctive sound. Their music moves between dream pop, ambient, R&B, and trap, but resists easy categorization – they call it “cold pop.”
From Tamagotchi (2017), through the experimental Klan (2019) and the hypnotic docusoap (2020), to their latest Sanatorium (2024), Coals have been consistently building their own world – one shaped by contrasts, nostalgia, and emotional tension. Their work extends beyond music into carefully crafted visuals and live shows balancing euphoria with melancholy.
