* Please keep in mind that we reserve the right to change schedules at any time.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
for Indoor 6s:
* Matches MUST start on time, as we have a designated time that courts are booked and paid for. Please help get the next match started on your court right after you finish playing.
* Please read your division's bracket for details on games
* We follow IHSA standards for indoor women's 6's play.
Indoor Rules:
1) 6 players per team on court at all times; team can have up to 10 players total with libero/subs on the team
2) Players MUST rotate and follow/maintain correct rotation order (aka if you are following a 5:1; players MUST be in correct service order or team will lose the ball/point)
3) Players with teams of 6 MUST play all around unless you have a libero to come in for middles. (These are regulated IHSA rules, all players must play unless there is a sub!)
4) Server Must be behind the line until service (will call foot faults)
5) Let serves are okay
6) Serves may be passed with hands or forearms but NOT attacked with open hand upon service/ NO blocking serves
Faults/Violations:
😎 will call the following: 4 hits, doubles, lifts/carries, net violations, foot faults, back row attacks (must be behind 10ft line behind the back row)
Libero rules:
1) liberos can serve and freely substitute
2) liberos can not complete an attack from anywhere on the court if the ball is entirely above the net at the moment of contact
3) When libero is completely behind or touching the 10ft line, they can freely over hand set, teammates may then attack the ball above the height of the net. Team mates may also attack freely if liberos bump set/forearm set in front of the 10ft line
4) If liberos overhand set in front of the attack line/10ft line; teammates can not strike the ball if it is entirely higher than the net
Additional Court Kittens standards of conduct amongst players:
1) All players signed up for this tournament are allotted time frames to ref throughout the tournament. These are standards set across all advanced levels of play and required as a part of our indoor tournaments at Court Kittens. If you or your team is not open to ref duties, please note we will disqualify you and your team from play.
Each team will ref at minimum 2-3 pool play games (pending the amount of teams in your pool) and at least 1 play off game.
Ref duties include: 2 line judges, 1 "up ref" (Wheaton location does not have a stand so this ref will be standing on opposite side of down ref), 1 down ref, and 1 score keeper.
Court Kittens will provide: chairs, table, and scoreboards for score keeping and disposable whistles for refs.
2) All pool play and tournament play is SET and FINAL. If your players have questions regarding the tournament, please reach out to our any of our Court Kittens account directly for further clarification prior to the tournament. On the day of the tournament, if you have questions, we have staff located around the tournament (Staff will be wearing Court Kittens staff shirts) and they are available to answer any questions you may have.
* All brackets, playoffs, teams, playing times are finalized after registration closes and will not change. Therefore if your team needs time accommodations, you must let us know PRIOR to registration closing time or we will not change schedules.
* There will be bracket pools around your divisions tables, please do not tamper with papers unless you are writing down your team scores. All score counting and tallying will be done by Court Kittens staff.
* As previously mentioned, Court Kittens staff reserves the right to change length of matches to follow constraints of the facility, please be prompt and allow CK staff to direct the tournament effectively.
ALL PLAYERS MUST SIGN HEALTH WAIVER IN ORDER TO PLAY!!
*If any member of your team is unpaid and unregistered, they will not be allowed to participate*
