CivicAction’s Executive Dialogues is a conversation series designed to give emerging leaders an in-depth look at the skills they really to have need in their toolkit to be effective, civic-minded leaders working towards a better future for our region.
The Executive Dialogue series will feature in-depth conversations with impactful leaders from across the region, sharing the unique insights and lessons they’ve learned from the challenges they’ve faced in their cross-sectoral careers. Each session builds on the last, exploring key themes like governance, community-centred leadership, and leading through complexity.
The series will offer a grounded, practical look at what it means to future-proof your leadership skills. From navigating tough trade-offs to influencing change without formal authority, each session breaks down how effective, civic-minded leadership shows up in practice.
EXECUTIVE DIALOGUE WITH JENNIFER QUINN: SESSION PURPOSE
The inaugural Executive Dialogue will give emerging leaders an authentic look at Jennifer Quinn’s leadership journey, including the experiences, decisions, relationships and lessons that have shaped her career across the public and private sectors.
The conversation will feel candid, practical and accessible with a particular focus on the realities of leadership: navigating complexity, making difficult decisions, working across sectors and leading without always having direct authority.
