CITY PUNCH is a FREE upcoming art experience this September, created by MetamorphVic in collaboration with Pneuma, bringing together two local Jacksonville brands through art, culture, fashion, and creative expression.
Centered around a collection of interpretive paintings inspired by the iconic Mike Tyson, City Punch presents the work of MetamorphVic through a range of different-sized original pieces. The gallery experience will also feature a sculpture installation, limited prints, T-shirts, and more, creating an immersive collection that extends beyond the canvas.
Each piece explores Tyson as more than just a fighter, using interpretation, expression, power, transformation, and cultural influence as inspiration. Through bold visuals and MetamorphVic’s distinctive artistic perspective, City Punch transforms an iconic figure into a body of work that invites viewers to experience strength, identity, and creativity from a new perspective.
