The presentation will explore Carmel’s vision for continued growth, including future development, infrastructure, redevelopment, connectivity, and other initiatives that will help shape the city for years to come. Attendees will gain insight into upcoming priorities and opportunities and what Carmel’s continued evolution could mean for the architecture, engineering, and construction community.

Info: Mayor Sue Finkam has been deeply connected to the City of Carmel for decades, serving 12 years on the City Council and founding FireStarter, LLC, a full-service marketing agency in the city. Her leadership emphasizes enhancing quality of place, engaging residents, and delivering excellent city services. Under her guidance, Carmel has shifted toward putting people at the center of projects. She has forged strong partnerships with local businesses, schools, and civic organizations to strengthen the economy, create jobs, and attract new talent. A graduate of Central Michigan University and Indiana Wesleyan, she and her husband, Joe, raised their son, Drew, in Carmel. With bold vision and commitment to community, Mayor Finkam continues to lead Carmel toward a vibrant, resilient future for residents and businesses alike.
