Join us for a free conference on electronic waste and sustainable use of electronics! 📱♻️The conference is the final event of the international OSCAR project, which provides youth trainers and young people with resources to adopt sustainable practices and make informed choices about the use and disposal of electrical and electronic equipment.
The final conference will showcase creative solutions for sustainable use of electronics developed by young people from across Europe. Experts will introduce the interactive training platform, which allows young people, their teachers and trainers, and anyone working with the youth to learn about e-waste.
The event will take place in the Lasnamäe Circular Economy Centre - a new circular hub where communities can come together and work on sustainability topics. At the conference, participants can join one of four workshops:
💡 Environmental educational tour of the Tallinn Circular Economy Centre
🔌Electronics repair workshop (please bring your own phone charger with you)
🧵 Sewing repair workshop (beginner-friendly)
♻️ Waste class (a hands-on activity where you follow your trash on its wild journey and dig into recycling, reuse, and Estonia's coolest waste innovations with models and microscopes)
