When you paint circles — the same smooth, curved shape, over and over — something interesting happens in your brain. The rhythm of it, the gentle repetition, sends a quiet signal to your nervous system that says: everything is okay right now. Your heart slows down a little. The busy, noisy part of your mind gets quieter. It feels a bit like your brain finally gets to exhale. The really good news? There's no wrong way to do it. Circles can be wobbly, overlapping, tiny, enormous — it genuinely doesn't matter. That's kind of the whole point.
Painting circles is one of the simplest, most calming things a person can do and I'd like to show you how.
What you'll do:
We will explore different types of paint brushes until you find the one that feels good for your perfectly imperfect watercolour circles
We will explore watercolours - keeping techniques simple and accessible to all - there's no right or wrong here
After completing several watercolour backgrounds, you'll choose one to begin doodling with simple and repetitive lines, dots and circles that continue to calm your mind and nervous system
Leave fully relaxed, with additional painted backgrounds and a fineliner pen so you can continue the mindful doodles at home on the other backgrounds you have created during the session
What's included:
-All quality art materials and tuition
-Drinks
I have over 25 years teaching experience and will guide you every step of the way. No artistic skills required. I promise!
