Circle of Presence and Creativity

Would you like to CONNECT more deeply with yourself and your inner CREATIVITY✨
Come join a gentle circle of creative expression, where art practices guide us inward. We arrive in our bodies also through supportive yoga and breathwork exercises, allowing our inner selves to be seen and sensed through art and embodied practices.
We gather in a safe, supportive space to explore how we’re feeling in the present moment. The aim is to reconnect with our creative ways of expression — even when it feels hidden or distant. We move gently through different practices such as intuitive painting, present body movement, and poetic writing.

Day is held at Løvetann studios, Grønnegata.
From 10.00 to 16.00
__________
By shifting between various art forms, it becomes easier to drop into the body and connect with your inner world, rather than staying only in the mind.
Through these practices, creativity can reveal something that is ready to be seen and acknowledged.
Art offers a space where we can open ourselves to the world. Art is the language of the soul. It gives the soul room to be seen. It gives us the possibility to discover the strength we already carry.
To help us connect with our intuition, a session of breathwork and Hatha yoga will invite us to turn inward, listen to our bodies, and cultivate a sense of grounding and presence.
Our bodies need opportunities to tell the stories they have been holding and hiding. Art creates a space for those stories to come forward. Space to understand ✨

Day is held by Marika & Jagoda
Marika Kavakka is a Finnish artist and expressive art therapy instructor living in Kvaløya. She paints intuitive art, and for her, the most important aspect is the process and presence.
She sees her current mission as creating space for people to discover their creativity. She does this both as an artist and through the creativity courses she teaches. She discovered her artistic side as an adult and believes that creativity exists within each of us. In the end, it is a deeply original way to explore our existence in relation to the world around us and to one another.

Jagoda Dyga is a Hatha yoga teacher who started Ananda Yoga to share her knowledge of yoga and help others discover the mental and physical benefits of the practice. By education, Jagoda is a linguist, and she moved to Tromsø from Poland in 2020. She has been practicing yoga and meditation for over 10 years and felt the calling to share this ancient philosophy with others. She completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training at Arhanta Ashram in the Netherlands, a school that teaches traditional Hatha Yoga in the lineage of Swami Sivananda. Jagoda wants to inspire others to turn inward through the practice of yoga and discover their true essence and happiness that lies within.
