About this Event
Pixar's A Bugs Life is a classic film of the triumph of the little people united against the bully.
A celebration of what outsiders can bring to our community - different to us, but so important to our survival.
Mild peril and a happy ending for the little ones; an examination of capitalism, immigration and colonialism for the adults.
All done with humour and the wonderful animation that Pixar does so well.
For the cinéaste check out this article on whether A Bugs Life is a remake of The Seven Samurai - https://decider.com/2014/11/19/seven-samurai-a-bugs-life/
You bring friends, family, neighbours, a picnic and a blanket.
We'll provide the film, some extra entertainment and the popcorn.
"Doors open" at 6 - for some live music and activities - to go with your picnic. Film starts at about 8pm (or when it's dark enough!)
All events at Cotteirdge Park are FREE to attend, but they aren't free to put on so donations would be very much appreciated.
