About this Event
PICTURE THIS: Handpicked cult classics paired with multi-course dinners and cocktails inspired by the world on screen — served as the film plays. No intermission. No waiting. Just great food, great cinema, and the table to yourself from first frame to last. The Stone House is very excited to announce and invite you to our very first offering: Rocky Horror Picture Show - Thursday, October 22, 2026.
We chose The Rocky Horror Picture Show because we’re actual fans. We love the costumes, the callbacks, the ridiculousness, the music, the participation, and the fact that after all these years, people still show up ready to completely lose themselves in it. So we built a dinner around it: Three courses inspired by the film. Three cocktail pairings. Props at your seat. Costumes highly encouraged. Featuring an all-star cast of Nevada County’s finest in culinary and mixology visionaries, this night promises to shock the senses with delectable delights and memorable fun… And, oh ya, it’s in a 169-year-old castle! … the Stone House in Nevada City.
Come hungry. Come dressed up. Come ready to participate.
More Cinema Dinners to follow! Every Third Thursday at Stone House.
