🎶 Cigano Swing📅 October 23
📍 Blue Bamboo Center for the Arts
460 E. New England Ave., Winter Park, FL
Rooted in the legacy of Django Reinhardt and the Hot Club de France, Cigano Swing brings the timeless charm of gypsy jazz to Central Florida with passion, precision, and a modern spark. Featuring André Santana (lead guitar), Kyle Jones (bass), Allen Kooken (rhythm guitar), and Emily Cole (vocals), the quartet blends intricate guitar improvisation, driving rhythms, and elegant, nostalgic vocals into a sound that’s both classic and distinctively new.
The band has sold out shows at Blue Bamboo Center for the Arts and has been featured at the College Park Jazz Fest and the New Smyrna Beach Jazz Festival, where they headlined. They have also been featured live on 89.9 WUCF Jazz and performed for higher-education institutions including Seminole State College and First Institute, cementing their reputation as one of Florida’s premier gypsy jazz ensembles.
