Chunky Knit Bag

Learn the basics of hand knitting using chunky yarn to create their very own stylish and functional bag.

In this workshop, participants will:

- Understand the characteristics and benefits of chunky yarn.

- Explore different types of chunky yarn.

- Overview of knitting techniques used for bag making.

- Choose the right chunky yarn for durability and aesthetics.

- Understand knitting tools: hands vs. knitting needles.

- Explore different bag styles and structures.

- Practise tension control for even stitches.

- Learn variations in making straps

- Learn how to combine yarn of different colours or what to do when yarn runs out

Age Requirement: This workshop is suitable for children ages 6 and up.

Fees:

• $30 for mini bag (kids only)
• $40 for medium bag (B5 sized)
• $50 for ketupat bag (A4 sized, single-colour only)
• $30 for mini fluffy bag
• $35 for medium fluffy bag
• $40 for large fluffy bag

Additional charges apply for dual colour (+$5) and velvet yarn (+$5).
