A relaxed, informal class, where you can spend time making and glazing your own Scandinavian inspired tea light house. This class is suitable for beginners as well as anyone who attended a previous workshop. I am a qualified teacher and the class takes place at Walrus Studios at Earsham Hall near Bungay.In this workshop, we'll be making a tea light house using slab building; you can decorate it using different textures, cutters and carving then decorate it with coloured underglazes or just leave it white. Once thoroughly dried, I will fire your house give it a transparent glaze and then fire them for the final time.
All equipment and materials are supplied and you will be able to make, glaze and take home (in a couple of weeks after firing) unique pieces of pottery that you have made yourself.
Pottery is fantastic for relaxation, mindfulness and well-being as well as being an incredibly rewarding hobby.
