CPC's annual Christmas Mission Market is a joyful, family-friendly holiday tradition that gives Tallahassee residents an opportunity to celebrate Christmas through giving - supporting nonprofits, honoring people they love, and introducing children to the joy of generosity. Instead of purchasing another traditional gift, attendees can donate to a local nonprofit in honor of someone they love. They receive a card explaining the gift to place under the tree or give to the honoree. Our participating nonprofits are Brehon Family Services, REfire Culinary, Florida Presbyterian Disaster Assistance, Tallahassee Veterans Legal Collaborative, Porch de Salomon, Making Miracles Haven, Dogwood Acres Retreat Center and Camp, ECHO, Thornwell, Sleep in Heavenly Peace, In the Carpenter's Footsteps, Good News Outreach, and UKirk Tallahassee.
The Kid's Card allow children to visit participating nonprofit tables, learn about their missions, and then choose where to donate $10 provided by a generous donor.
The Christmas Mission Market is a community event filled with performances, Christmas karaoke, baked goods, children's activities, a blood drive, and opportunities to meet people doing meaningful work throughout Tallahassee.
