Christmas Day Lunch Friday 25 December, from 11.30amChristmas lunch at Airlie Beach Hotel calls for a table full of good things and the people you want around it. Settle in for a buffet with fresh local prawns, oysters and whole baked fish, followed by Christmas favourites including rolled turkey, roast pork belly with crackling and honey-glazed ham.
There’s room for the sides, too: roast potato and pumpkin, steamed vegetables, mango slaw, garden salad and smoked potato and egg salad. Finish with pavlova, Christmas pudding and custard, or head for the cakes, pastries and ice cream toppings.
