Christmas starts early in Eldersville this year.
Bundle up and stroll the village with a cup of something warm in your hand. Over 50 crafters fill Fire Road, Cedar Grove Road, Eldersville Road and Church Road with handmade gifts, the churches and the fire hall are serving up food, and Santa is in town all day Saturday at the White Church.
Catch the Christmas parade at noon, with marching bands, fire trucks, floats and Santa himself. Then stay right where you are, because at 1:00 the Christmas music keeps going. Your favorite holiday songs, played live, while you shop, snack and soak in the season with the whole family.
It's the Jefferson Township Historical Society's biggest fundraiser of the year, so every gift you pick up helps keep local history alive.
Admission and parking are free. Park at the Fire Hall, the grade school at 743 Cedar Grove Road, or the United Methodist Church at 15 Church Road.
Matt Hill and the Classics bring the Christmas soundtrack, Saturday from 1 to 3 PM.
