🚌 When is the trip?
December 18–20, 2026
We will depart Friday, December 18 at 11:00 PM from North Canton Church of Christ.
We’ll travel overnight to New York City, spend Saturday enjoying the city, and depart NYC Saturday evening for the return trip.
We expect to return to North Canton by approximately 6:00 AM Sunday, December 20.

👨👩👧👦 Who should attend?
This trip is for anyone who wants to experience Christmas in New York City! 🎄🗽
Families, couples, friends, groups, and solo travelers are all welcome.
However, it’s important to understand that this is a physically demanding day. You’ll be spending many hours exploring Manhattan, walking significant distances, navigating crowds and busy streets, using stairs and public transportation if desired, and dealing with potentially cold December weather.
👶 What about young children?
We highly recommend that children under 6 years old do not make this trip because of the physical demands of the day.
That said, the decision is ultimately up to each parent or guardian. Parents should carefully consider their child’s age, stamina, walking ability, tolerance for crowds and cold weather, and ability to handle a very long and active day.
Our goal is for everyone—including the youngest travelers—to have a wonderful experience, so please make the decision that’s best for your family.
In short: If your child can handle a long day on their feet, lots of walking, crowds, cold weather, and a late night, they’re ready for the adventure! ❤️

🗽 How long will we be in New York City?
You’ll have the majority of Saturday to explore Manhattan before we depart for home that evening.
This isn’t a guided tour where everyone stays together all day. You get to decide how you want to experience New York City.

Your ticket includes:
✅ Round-trip motorcoach transportation
✅ Professional motorcoach driver
✅ Overnight transportation to and from NYC

Basically, we get you to the city and the day is yours!
Meals, attractions, Broadway shows, shopping, and other activities are not included unless specifically stated.

No!
That’s one of the best parts of this trip!
You’ll travel overnight to NYC, spend Saturday exploring the city, and board the motorcoach Saturday evening for the trip home.
No hotel. No airfare. No rental car. No NYC parking.

🚌 What kind of bus will we use?
Ohio Valley Excursions will provide two full-size 56 passenger motorcoaches and two luxury 42 passenger motorcoaches for the trip, designed to make the overnight journey as comfortable as possible.

🛏️ Will I be able to sleep on the bus?
We recommend bringing anything that will make overnight travel more comfortable, such as a travel pillow, blanket, headphones, and comfortable clothing.
There will be two scheduled stops during the journey.

☃️ What happens if the weather is bad?
The trip will operate as scheduled unless extreme weather prevents our travel.
The safety of our passengers and drivers is always our top priority.

Because transportation and other trip expenses must be committed to in advance, tickets are non-refundable once purchased.
