Christmas Drinks in Drayton
Join us for a festive edition of our popular Historic Pub Walk as we explore Market Drayton’s pubs, Christmas lights and a few drinking establishments that have disappeared from the town over the years.
Led by a local guide, we’ll make our way along Market Drayton’s historic main shopping streets, taking in the town’s Christmas tree and lights and stopping at some of the pubs along the route to enjoy the festive atmosphere.
But this isn’t just about the pubs that are still here. We’ll also stop at the sites of some of Market Drayton’s former pubs from the last 30 years or so, sharing memories and stories of places that many people will remember.
There will be opportunities to call into pubs along the way and enjoy a festive drink if you wish, before we finish the evening with mince pies in one of our local pubs.
Christmas jumpers are very much encouraged – the more festive, the better!
All proceeds from ticket sales will support Market Drayton Museum & Heritage Centre and its work preserving and sharing the history of our town.
