Kick off your festive shopping at the REME Museum Christmas Fair with festive stalls full of handmade goods and local offers!Get in the holiday spirit and purchase gifts for loved ones, find that perfect Secret Santa gift or simply buy a treat for yourself.
By popular demand, this year we are making it bigger! To make sure everyone has plenty of space to browse and to offer even more local businesses the opportunity to have a stall, the REME Museum Christmas Fair 2026 will be held throughout the museum galleries.
Also - Meet Santa! Joining us from the North Pole is Father Christmas himself, who will be reading to families from some classic Christmas storybooks.
As the Fair is now being held throughout the galleries we are asking for a small entry donation of £1.
Please note that visibility of displays will be limited on this day due to business stalls and lighting will be adjusted too, so if you would like a normal museum experience we recommend visiting on another day. However, for just £1 you could get a little bit of everything for next to nothing!

Grab a refreshment after all that shopping in our not-for-profit Crowns Cafe! Serving Christmas specials, barista-style hot drinks, freshly cooked food and sweet treats.
Our car park is free, with Blue Badge spaces available on a first-come-first-served basis.
As much as we're becoming more reliant on contactless payments, we're aware that some of our traders may not be able to accept card at our Christmas Fair. So please remember to bring some cash too!
