Christmas Cross Training Clinic – Kingston Maurward Indoor Arena💜 Sunday 20th December – from 10.30am – 1-hour sessions
A little festive fun for horses and humans!
Christmas fancy dress is very much encouraged for both horses and humans, but completely optional! Whether it is a bit of tinsel, a festive hat or a full Christmas outfit, let’s see your festive creations! Just make sure everything is safe and comfortable for your horse.
This clinic is all about confidence, control and connection – not “being taught a lesson”. You will walk your horse through a series of fun, gymnastic-style zones designed to improve:
Proprioception (where their feet are!)
Accuracy & straightness
Focus & relaxation
Trust between horse and rider/handler
We will be using things like:
💜 A confidence bridge (front feet / all fours / hind feet)
💜 Wrong-side leading and mounting for real-life flexibility
💜 Pole pathways
💜 A little festive twist to some of our usual exercises!
You can work in-hand or ridden (or a mix), depending on what is best for you and your horse on the day.
The aim is that you both go home feeling like you have gained skills and exercises, not just been round in circles – with a little Christmas cheer thrown in!
Price:
£25 per horse
Entries close 4pm on Friday 18th Dec
1-hour sessions in small groups of up to 5
Suitable for a range of horses and ponies – from young or green to more established horses wanting something different.
Come along, enjoy some festive fun and make some lovely Christmas memories with your horse! 💜
