About this Event
Visit the Greenway Botanical Garden at the Naval Cemetety during regular open hours to help us observe birds for the Brooklyn Bird Club's Christmas Bird Count.
Whether you're a biker, a greenway user, a nature lover, or aspiring bird watcher, here's a chance to deepen your appreciation for the wildlife that share the city and use the greenways with us while observing birds and counting them for a community science event.
Please note: there is no shelter or heated space on site. Please plan and dress accordingly.

Before or after this event, speak to our gardeners and learn about the Greenway Botanical Garden at the Naval Cemetery (the Garden) and the Greenway and what goes into maintaining their beauty and accessibility for everyone! The Garden is fully operated, made open as a public space and able to provide free public programs like this solely by Brooklyn Greenway Initiative through the generosity of our supporters.
