They’re kinder to the environment than paraffin, and they release negative ions as they burn, helping to neutralise pollutants in the air. That means fresher air, fewer bad smells, and even relief for allergies, and asthma. They look beautiful, smell naturally sweet, and are surprisingly easy to make. What's not to love?In this class, you’ll explore beeswax in two different forms. You’ll melt and pour beeswax into moulds to create adorable little gonk candles, and you’ll roll, cut and model beeswax sheets to make simple rolled and layered candles. You’ll also wax your own natural cotton wicks, giving you truly 100% natural candles from start to finish.
Enjoy a relaxed, friendly atmosphere, and plenty of tea and coffee! This class is suitable for complete beginners, and you'll be guided through every step by Wendy, owner of The Little Craftery, and life-long crafter.
The workshop runs for approximately 1½ hours. All materials and refreshments are included in the price.
