Holiday Traditions:Global Roots, Local Stories
Christmas at the Hubbard House, an annual holiday tradition, returns for three weekends in December with an exciting, inclusive new focus!
This year, we are exploring winter and holiday traditions from around the world, specifically highlighting the diverse cultural communities that make up Blue Earth County today.
To bring these global stories to life authentically and respectfully, visitors will interact with costumed characters playing “roving historians” stationed throughout the historic mansion. They will share the fascinating global origins, evolution, and local impact of these diverse celebrations—making this year’s experience completely unique, welcoming, and open to all.
Admission is $15/adults, $12/seniors, $10/BECHS Members, $5/children 5-17, free for kids under 5.
Self-guided Tours Saturdays and Sundays Noon-4p.m. Space is limited so pre-registration is highly encouraged. Schedule your tour online or at the History Center.
